i jus came back from msia!! its super fun!! i went to penang, ipoh, kl, bukit tinggi and finally genting highlands. ours is a free and easy trip, so lotsa things are within OUR control. like wad time to wake up.. wad activities to do..
first up, we did a little shopping at penang, okies, actuallie quite some shopping alr on e first day. bought mainly e local produce in msia and some shoes.. we tried their local specialties like curry mee, prawn mee, hokkien mee, hor fun, rojak, popiah, chicken rice, char kway tiao, carrot cake.. slurps. all in one day!! we had a little sightseeing too, but not that fantastic la..
at ipoh, did smmore shopping. we watched happy feet even! haha. we were wondering wad to do for e aftnoon, den we passed by e cinema. so decided to pop in for a movie. theres nothing much in ipoh la reallie.
at kl, we visited e klcc, wah e twin towers are damn tall and majestic. again shopping in klcc. theyve got e big brands like zara, topshop, guess, nike, adidas.. and of cos e prices there are a lil steep compared to that in penang and ipoh. we spent an hr plus in a shop called vincci, choosing watches and sunglasses.. oh my. girls are girls. no wonder sze kiat feels so bored. (sze kiat is my 10-yr-old cousin, a male). haha. oh did i mention how we got to klcc? we took e LRT!! thats equivalent to our MRT! not bad huh. but their transit interchange is less convenient than ours, we can switch lines all within one station, for theirs, they needa get out of e station and enter another one which is located nearby..perhaps a road away.. and speaking of roads, e traffic is terrible. no car gives a damn abt passengers and traffic lights. bah.
besides klcc and shopping, we went to sunway lagoon too. okies. it was fun, but not superb. at least we dun have to queue for long for e rides. some of e rides were reallie exciting.. e water part was less fun i guess. nothing much to play there. jus rent e tube and float ard on e water.

den we proceeded on to bukit tinggi. thats our fav part of e trip!! we stayed at colmar tropicale resort. its reallie a peaceful and tranquil environment. e area is vv cottage-gy, e buildings look like castles. of cos we took lotsa pics there. since its a french themed resort, they mainly serve french cuisine, which unfortunately is not to my liking. haha. we also visited e rabbit park, deer santuary... e rabbits roam ard e park freely and its up to us to 'catch' them and take photos with them.. some inconsiderate ppl actuallie hold e rabbits by their ears. oh my. that must be vv painful.. argh. we had a vv entertaining night as we watched performances by java dancers and songs sung by d'sensation. nv heard of them, but theyre not bad leh.. e emcee was super funny also. reallie hyped up e entire evening.
we didn wanna leave that place to go on to genting. genting was damn cold la!! and i got a terrible headache e day we reached genting. it persisted until e vv next day. e outdoor theme park was so so onli. firstly it was vv crowded, so we needa queue for abt 1 hr on average for every ride that we chose to take. secondly it rained a bit, so some of e rides were affected and we had to wait even longer. me and my sis only took abt 4-5 rides.. damn sian. we didn try e indoor theme park cos its mainly for kids la. no kick. and i didn try to sneak into e casino.. dun ask me why. i didn even think of it, and im not interested also. haha. when we were leaving genting, at e bus terminal, i saw my pri sch chi teacher. im not sure whether she taught me before, but im quite sure shes a teacher at my pri sch. i stared at her as she walked past me. she was together with her husband and son. and she actualie waved at me.. i wondered whether she still recognises me.. but anyways ill prefer to think she still rmbs me, thats why shes waving to me. so happie!! wad a small world ya. haha.
e return journey was e worst. there were alot of delays. e bus was suppsoed to come pick us up at genting at 3pm but it came at 430pm. and due to a heavy downpour at kl, there was a huge jam at e expressway. e cars virtually slowed to a crawl. and i mean LITERALLY crawling. stuck there for abt an hr or so. then when we finally reached msia customs at abt 12am, some singaporeans from another bus joined us, cos their bus didn purchase road tax. so its not allowed into sg or smth lydat. another round of waiting. so i should have reached home ard 11pm on 8 dec, but in e end we reached at 1am on 9 dec. hais. wad a spoiler to e wonderful trip.
but nevertheless, i enjoyed myself vv much this time. this is one of e best trips ive been to. at least i dun have to wake up at 7am with morning calls and everything.. rush like crazy to cover everything printed on e itinerary. it was slow and steady this time. this is how a holiday should be!! =D
