i jus realise how un-happening smu is. haha. dun be deceived by our hip marketing. we jus noe how to dress well and this gives others e false impression that weve got a life. actually we dun. we're bogged down by lotsa projects and random tasks.. u look at our timetable, ull think we lead a damn stress-less life. cos we only have 1 3hr seminar for each mod. but trust me, e rest of e day is taken up by preparing for presentations and projects and homework!! dun think theres no hw, theres lots of hw! actually depending on ur prof and whether or not you wanna do. of cos yoo can choose not to do. but its for your own good. if u dun do ur hw, pre-read e notes, and keep up w e pace of e mod, your exams will be damn screwed. so to those whore thinking of coming smu, THINK AGAIN!
haha. that isn reallie an objective point of view. smu can be kinda fun too. if yoore involved in e sch/ cca activities. if yoo shun away and focus solely on e academics, basically yoo have no life la. recently i joined smux biking and xseed. theres skating session this fri, should be gg w lin xin (new fren met at smux info session). im quite apprehensive abt skating w e pros. haha. and im in YAH, now drawing up proposal. im in asoc games sub com. and im in mic too. e singing club. haha. all these extra stuff besides e normal sch workload. i hope my grades aren compromised.
oh ya and one thing. smu students are damn competitive and kiasu. theyre vv competent too, cos they can deal w lotsa stuff and still do well in exams. i dunno how they do it, i hope i can acquire this skill too. ;) everything u do here will affect ur gpa in one way or another, so yoove got to be consistent and not slack at all. that is wad making it all so tiring.
but ive got a feeling ill lead a vv interesting and meaningful life here.
