ive got a new watch!! fr espirit. a gift fr rol! haha. he promised to buy me a watch and he did! cos i broke my watch when i was in asoc camp. and of cos gifts fr taiwan which include earrings, necklace, a super nice notebook that costs SGD8 plus, some keychains.. he bought all fr diff places, so this proved that he thought of me constantly when he was there. haha.
now a bit on my freshman camp. first thing, e name of my grp.. cundinamarca. cund-inamar-ca. doesn it sound super vulgar? dunno how e organising committee came up w e name. anyways, e camp was fun, though it was focusing more on teambuilding stuff. our faci, azleen was kinda strict at times, but she also joked ard and laughed w us.. we had a mixture of ppl in e grp and we all got along together. e camp was diff fr other camps like smux and asoc cos there was debrief aft each ACTIVITY and learning points to take note of. e camp was supposed to inculcate e CIRCLE values in us, like integrity, commitment, blah blah.. smtimes i felt it was a bit 'duh', but nonetheless, there was still fun! i made lotsa frens too. e girls clicked damn well and e guys were damn crappy. all e guys in my grp are nice guys.. actuallie i feel smu guys are generally gentlemanly and nice la. we bitched ard and gossiped abt other ppl. names like qian shou guan yin (buddha w thousand hands) came up and we jus crapped all e way! we got real dirty on e 2nd and 3rd day of e camp and there was a bit of kayaking too! oh ya, and theres 2 smokers fr my grp, super heavy smokers. i wonder how they survive w/o cigarettes.
anyways, thanks to all of them who made my freshmen camp so enjoyable and unforgettable. previously i heard complaints fr ppl who went for run 1, that theirs was boring, but i had alot of fun in run 2. so it all depends on ur grp and ur attitude. run 3 ppl, dun worry so much la. and to my campmates: stay in touch k! see ya all at convo and vivace!
oh ya. and i managed to catch fireworks last nite too!! w rol, fq, jinhan, swee keat, via, ron and hock. but of cos since rol and i were late, we didn meet up w e rest until e end of e fireworks. it was freaking crowded can!! me and rol almost couldn get onto e train fr dhoby ghaut to city hall. and it was packed all e way fr mrt to esplanade. woah. but rol and i managed to squeeze thru e crowd to e riverside and catch a superb view of e fireworks. it was def nicer than last yr's. if only there weren so many ppl, how sweet would that be..
