is this all but a dream? its like a dream come true la.. we actuallie got syf gold! we even beat pro schs like rj.. well, for sec sch, yuhua got gold w honours, ahs got silver, hongkah, and pioneer got bronze i think.. den for jcs, aj, rj and nyjc got silver; nj, hc and us got gold! haha.. smmore were e last band.. thought we cfm cmi at first.. even our conductor saed well most prob get silver.. dunno whether can get silver even.. but over jus two to three wks, we practised like mad.. i think we improved alot la.. if theres ever a good progress award, its cfm ours wan lorh.. i mean we onli started our kanon proper in early feb i think.. so heng for us la.. den we did a lot of superstitious stuff.. we heard dat guitar ppl put on make up, den they got gold, while e strings ppl didn.. so we last min put a bit also.. haha. den we were saying if onli our harmoc guys put on make up also, den we cfm gold w honours liao.. ;) ahaha. whr got so easy wan..
i rmb my hands sweating like crazy, and feeling numb while waiting for our turn.. den cannot even play properly on stage.. lips suddenli dry, cannot slide e harmoc.. and i was praying so hard for section one not to rush.. got one part they rushed a bit, but luckily it was temporarily la, den everything was back to normal..
mr tang is reallie a vv pro conductor, he helped us relax by telling us lame jokes before our turn.. haha. and hell give us thumbs up signals to motivate us and keep us going.. we all smiled instinctively when we saw e signal la.. haha. of all e schs dat he teaches, one got gold w honours (yuhua), two golds (us and nj) and two silvers (ahs and nyjc). quite sad for ahs, cos i think they deserved e gold.. got some part cocked up la.. den nyjc harmoc band will be dissolved next yr, so vv few ppl onli (22 i think), yep so vv hard to get gold.. im so proud of my conductor! oh my god! hes my idol! hahas.
oh yar, did i mention i cry like crazy also when e results were revealed.. i held hands wif ivy and sook yee.. cold against cold.. haha. den i was closing my eyes as they announced vjc, our index no den e results.. i was so scared dat itll be silver cos even rj got silver la.. den they saed 'gold' we all screamed and cheered.. dunno why, my tears jus flowed automatically.. i cried so dramatically, like smone jus died.. oh choi! hahas. this is jus too good to be true.. ooh lala.
hey all, sat got no prac k. i noe u all need a break.. resume prac on tue la. den chiong concert.. hehe, now we get gold, easier to sell tix.. ahem, who wans to go for harmoc concert, now must pay 10 bucks at least liao.. no la, kidding. ;)
