yep, im back! its been a wild and eventful trip to cebu! theres so much to sae and share abt my trip, but i dunno how and whr to start!
my grp's awesome.. we've got ppl like chris who talks cock non stop, our mr president (rmb presidential su-it!), our adorable gro leader xingqi, whose voice happens to be higher pitched than mine.. we seem to be outcasted fr e other grps, but it didn reallie matter cos we're self sufficient oursleves..
e filipinoes there are warm and friendly, treated us like vips. like some superstars. esp e students at tabok national high. they gave us letters and pressies, screamed our names when they saw us. in one of e letters i received, theres this sentence which i liked alot. hha. it goes like this ' your beauty is like the beauty of a beautiful princess'. haha! my grp mates laughed their heads off la. when we left, e kids theres hugged and kissed us and cried also.. i was touched and overwhelmed.
of cos there was hard work. our grp was assigned to build toilets. i could never imagine myself handling cement and bricks, loosening the soil and sawing metal rods. but i still did it in e end. though we didn manage to finish e toilet, it was a satisfying and rewarding expericence.. im sure it goes e same for e rest of my grp.
visited e boys home and ive got a buddy!! his name is alberto casanal. i promised to write to him and im gonna attach a photo of us two taken at e boys home.. it is heart wrenching to noe that e living expenses of a boy there is abt 100 pesos for a mth, which is like $3plus sing dollars only.. how to survive lydat.
i visited e dumps too, whr ppl actuallie reside in. they rummage thru e dumps to find stuff to sell in e city for a few pesos.. e kids there are under nourished and e ave age of a parent is 12-14.. scary sia.
of cos there was e unforgettable shopping at SM! SM stands for shoe mart.. its e biggest shopping mall in cebu. spent 3hrs there, but it wasn enough. hha. shopping queen eh. bought lotsa accessories, and clothes and bags and food!
we also enjoyed a day at a resort owned by one of e rotarians.. vv relaxing and refreshing. we played beach games, did swimming, snorkeling, playing cards.. and getting wet! ooh la la. would love to go there again!
i didn wanna come home.. but all good things must come to an end.. love ya all guys! yoo rock! rmb our gathering on 8 dec!
to joyce: dun worry. we wun be jus 'hi bye' frends.
